Next month subscribers to Spotify in the US will start receiving an email detailing the price increases to Premium, Duo, and Family plans. Spotify Premium will now cost $11.99 a month, up from the $10.99 increase announced last year.

If you’re a subscriber to Spotify Duo then it’s jumping $2 a month, from $14.99 to $16.99 a month. Family will also increase from $16.99 a month to $19.99 a month. That means the price of a Spotify Duo subscription has jumped by 30 percent in a year, compared to prices before last year’s hike. Spotify Family has also increased by 25 percent over the course of a year, with Spotify Premium up by 20 percent.

Hey everyone so I hope you have been paying attention but Nintendo seems to be on some sort of hellbent mission to remove everyone ROM hosting site that exists, they just hit Vimm's lair with yet another takedown and it appears all Nintendo ROM's will forever be removed from Vimm's and never return. The last remaining place seems to be internet archive but they are at risk of going under very soon and I tend to not fear the worst because after all nothing ever truly disappears from the internet. But finding ROM's without going to some virus ridden site is going to be extremely difficult in the future once all of the most reliable sources get taken down one way or another, It seems that Nintendo always gets their way and it pisses me off to no end.

I want everyone here to go and back up as many ROM's are they can, use local drives if you can, I got a 20TB drive that I am backing up to as I speak. I am already up to the 3DS, Its gonna take time but you will thank yourself for doing this. Be a data hoarder. Back up everything. Also fuck Nintendo you can suck my fucking balls.

pSearch - Description

pSearch is a multi-search software programmed in Python. It does not allow you to download files, rather search in multiple sites based on a category or a single site from a dropdown list. This project is not new, but I did release a new version recently and I do want to get some people to test the latest release to spot any bugs or inconveniences. | | Descripton | Running pSearch from the source code requires various modules that are included in the requirements.txt file, you can find more information about this on the Github page. This is the fastest way you can run the program (if familiar with Python), as it isn't built in any way and it's just it. | This is a standalone build of the program meant for distribution in .exe form. The program is built with Nuitka. You can either select a website from the drop down list where "Enter site name here" is written, or you can click one of the Shortcuts buttons to immediately search in a category of sites. | Allows you to copy the link of a website. | | Second, you have to enter a keyword in the input space next to the "Enter site name here", which is what you want to search. | Allows you to browse the results and visit websites through your browser. The Command Prompt/Black Page

This can be ignored since it is mainly used to display errors, so nothing to be worried about. It's the command prompt/line/terminal. It is useful for the following reasons:

• If a site returns no results, it is reported on this page. Since some sites have "domain sold" and the program can't detect that, rather it returns no results. This can help us to identify dead links that aren't so easy to spot.
• If a site returns an error, like timeout or error 404, then it is reported on this page.

Any errors faced please report on Github.

So my dad passed away earlier this year, and I'm still going through his stuff. He has a huge collection of music and movies (on DVD), most of it on discs labeled with Sharpie. I ordered an optical drive for my desktop, but I don't know yet what the file formats of all of these are. I am assuming I can probably just copy-paste from disc to hard drive? If anyone has any insight I'd love to hear it.
