I’ve got some mates that don’t have the coin to buy things (e.g., movies, tv-shows, games, books, etc.), and they’ll usually hit me up asking them to pirate the item for them.

At the moment, I’ve been using a Cloudflare R2 bucket + a custom domain, and I’ve instructed all my friends on how to download the goods. I’ve named the “.zip” files of their goods as an MD5 hash, and I also let them know what the true file name is in private messages.

Only problem with this, is that I’ve had to provide my real details to host this bucket. And I have a good feeling that eventually Cloudflare will know what’s going on, and they will suspend my account and I’ll be fined + jailed. That isn’t good because I use my Cloudflare account to host things outside of the piracy world.

So my question is, what do you use to host these goods? I was originally thinking Qiwi.gg, because I can contact them and remove advertisements, since I do not want to be earning any sort of money off these goods, but I’m open to suggestions.

I only say this because I've seen reddit change over time and become way more strict than it once was.

Reddit is a hotbed for piracy discussion and has so many resources for learning how to, and not just in piracy forward subs. Anytime anyone mentions anything about the topic of streaming or music. Hell, bring up YouTube and someone will talk about revanced, even. Every facet of the digital world can be pirated to some degree, or lend to a modified experience (ad blocks)

Do you think Reddit would ever ban the discussion, full stop, to appease advertisers or share holders?

Trust me, I've made over 3 guides on this subreddit. I around 5 comments repeating the same god damn question repeating over a d over again, guess what it was? "how to make fitgirl download faster", literally I get these type of questions daily, to the mods if you are reading this, I would gladly appreciate for you to lock my "guide" posts, thank you.

My next thing that I want to rant about, under every fucking normal post, there has to be a guy asking for how to pirate, when the megathead is literally pinned.

So I heard this from my buddy but it sounds absurd so I figured I’d ask here. My hard drive all my Plex stuff is on just died. It’s still under warranty so Seagate is recovering it for free. Now my buddy was telling me they won’t give it back once they see pirated stuff in it. I’m calling BS, has anyone else heard of this? I certainly haven’t and can’t see them caring that much or even knowing the media is pirated
