I’ve been doing this for a good while now and saving books in a private folder that’s shared with my alt account. So far I’ve had no problems but I’ve recently heard that google can scan for copyrighted stuff and can delete your files or outright ban your google account. Is this true? And if so what other alternative should I use/do?

First of all, it feels great. I torrented a bunch of stuff and gave some family access to my server so that they can cancel their subscriptions as well.

Possibly stupid question though;

Do I need to have Mullvad VPN on all the time to avoid my server being in any trouble? I noticed my streaming quality is better when my VPN is turned off. I literally have no clue if there is any danger in using plex with a bunch of pirated media or if anyone can tell its pirated in the first place.

I have a website where I have written guides for various different software related to piracy.

The one I wanted to share the most was the guide for Stremio.

Stremio can become one of the best media streaming services, allowing you to stream any movie or show at the highest quality (REMUX, DV, HDR, 4K etc.), as long a torrent for it exists online.

There are some caveats such as only working for highly seeded content and otherwise encountering buffering.

However, you can pay for a debrid service (€4 / month or €32 / year) which will give you no buffering for any media.

Been doing this since 2007. Had multiple ways of watching movies but man. I am so tired of all these streaming services…. How and why are they running ads on a show when I’m PAYING to watch the show. Hello all I have a question. My friend's is currently wasting a lot of money on bunch of streaming services. The thing that bothers me is that they don't even have that much cash to be wasting it on shit like Netflix and Disney+. But, whenever I ask him why don't they just pirate he says that they have much stricter anti piracy laws in Germany and even say that their neighbor got arrested for it. Is this true? Is it actually unsafe to pirate in Germany, or is he just making this up?

An Apple fanboy told me that I was stealing from Apple by removing their DRM off the music I download through my Apple Music Subscription. I pay good money for Apple Music and feel it is my right to remove DRM from all the music I download, so Apple can't revoke the songs from my device and I can also play the songs on any device that I want with no restrictions. Lots of bootlickers defending these multi billion dollar companies every chance they get, makes me sick.

People are constantly asking about how to torrent, whats safe to torrent, sites to go to, what vpn to use etc.

It would make it WAY easier if the megathread is just the first pinned post.

For those that dont know, if your on mobile, the subreddit side bar doesnt at all show unless you tap on "About". Then you still have to scroll down a bit before you even get to the community bookmarks.

On PC its a little tab on the side that says "community bookmarks" which only people that are constany on this sub would use. New people do not look there forst unless they are a class A reddit degenerate.

The weekly thread also doesnt help because new members dont ever actually check there first. (I know I dont and never will)
