For me personally this feels very wrong. What do you think about that?

A good article on implementing an event loop in PHP using the built-in fibers.

The article title is a little clickbaity, but basically, Doctrine and Symfony documentation don't mention that you can use constructor almost anywhere in the documentation.

As title state, seems clojure gain traction. I seen many US and EU Corporate project now days require this.

Is there anyway in our way in PHP to implement PHP to JS?

Seems will be interesting project.

A while ago I made this Symfony bundle that automagically memoizes your service methods using a PSR-6 cache.

Usage is very simple in 3 steps:

  1. have the service you want to memoize implement any interface
  2. mark the service with the #[Memoizable] attribute
  3. mark methods (or whole service) with the #[Memoize] attribute

Done!

Symfony 6.4 and Symfony 7.0 will be released at the same time at the end of November 2023. Both will have the exact same set of features, but also some important differences.

To lighten up some discussion here, I would like to ask what features or changes you would love to see in future PHP versions? We know that in recent versions a lot of nice adjustments were added, but I bet most of us dreams for more.

I personally would love to see types on inline variables, at first even not strict. However, I don’t know if it’s remotely possible with how currently the language is implemented.

This site is pretty useful, and seems curated by many expert, especially PHP veteran from freenode and libera... Just want to share, hope it's useful to anyone that never know this site.

Why don't you come over and join in the development?
