In 2005, internationally renowned musician and activist Moby launched mobygratis as a free music resource designed to empower creative projects by students, non-profits, indie filmmakers, musicians, producers, rappers, singers, animators, choreographers, songwriters, remixers, and more. Over the past two decades, this groundbreaking initiative has supported over 50,000 indie films and media projects, becoming a cornerstone for creatives in need of high-quality, royalty-free music.

What’s New in 2025?

This year, Moby and Little Walnut Productions are proud to re-launch mobygratis with phenomenally expanded functionality and resources, making it the most robust iteration yet. Here’s what to expect:What’s New in 2025? This year, Moby and Little Walnut

With the hype around Minecraft recently, my children's newfound addiction to it and my new desire to learn something, I spent a short while making this. It turns uploaded images into mosaics using your choice of number of tiles width and Minecraft block palettes. Hopefully someone can get some use out of it.

I built an open-source audio player that syncs any audio across multiple devices with millisecond precision.

No apps, no surround sound setup. Just a link and a couple devices!

Drop a track, share the link, hit play.

Every phone, laptop, or speaker joins a single surround-sound stage.

Works right in the browser—desktop or mobile.

Try it here: Beatsync.gg

Let me know your thoughts or suggestions!

I got tired of texting/emailing myself links or jumping through hoops just to move something between devices, so I built Clip Fish

Existing solutions (PushBullet, Discord, Telegram, Signal, etc.) often don't meet my needs. Most require logins and installations, which isn't ideal for quick, one-off transfers or sharing with someone who doesn't use the same app. Some tools come close. PairDrop is decent, but the UI can be confusing, messages don’t persist, and sharing across networks takes too many steps.

Clip Fish aims to fix this:

  • No signups or installs
  • Simple QR code scanning to connect devices
  • Intuitive, chat-like interface for sending text and files
  • Session and message persistence, even after refresh
  • Fully peer-to-peer over WebRTC (messages are never routed through a server)
  • Sessions can be cleared anytime

You can try it out at https://clip.fish/. It’s open-source and easy to self-host. The code and hosting instructions are available on GitHub. It’s still under active development, so I'd really appreciate any feedback. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions, please let me know: [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).

I recently launched JuryNow, a web-based game where you can submit any question and receive a verdict from 12 real people around the world. I built it to provide diverse perspectives quickly and anonymously.

The idea is to use collective human judgment in a simple, accessible format. No AI, no algorithms—just real opinions. JuryNow takes just 3 minutes: you submit your question (it can be a fashion dilemma or a moral dilemma, or a workplace problem or just a completely trivial question). Then, while you wait for your verdict you 'pay' with JuryDuty answering everyone else's questions for 3 minutes. There is no commentary or discussions, just a binary choice. Then, you get your verdict.

As it's brand new and this is just an MVP, if there are less than 13 people logged on at any time, you verdict comes from AI. This is necessary to demonstate the functionality of the game, but as soon as there are regular players from around the world, in different time zones, this will be permanently dismantled.

I'd love to hear your thoughts or feedback!

A site where you can spin a 3D globe and click on stations to listen to music, news, and culture from different countries, for free. 🎧🌎

It's a fun way to travel the world through sound. Hope you enjoy it!

Hey guys and gals!

I’ve been working on a little pet project that actually turned out to be super useful for me, so I thought I’d share it with you.

It’s a tiny site that recommends movies from both cinemas and streaming platforms. It uses TMDB as the database, so for each movie you get a description, rating, and info on where to watch it (though that last part isn’t always perfect—for example, it sometimes misses the correct sources. But hey, better some info than none!).

I was looking for something super simple, with no ads, that I could browse while chilling with my cat - so I made it myself!

Would love your feedback if you give it a try!

Hey Reddit! I wanted to share a personal project I’ve been building: CodeCafé — a collaborative, browser-based code editor inspired by VS Code and Replit, but with a zero-setup philosophy.

No downloads. No sign-up. Just open the link and start coding — solo or with friends.

Built with:

  • Frontend: React + TypeScript
  • Backend: Java Spring Boot
  • Real-time editing: Redis + a custom-built Operational Transformation system (no third-party libraries)

The idea sparked when I saw a local summer school teaching kids to code using Google Docs (yep, really). I loved the accessibility, but wanted something actually built for code.

If you’re curious how it works under the hood, the GitHub repo goes into all the juicy technical details — and I’d be super grateful for a star ⭐ if you like what you see!

I created a minimalist web tool that lets you watch any YouTube video without ads, distractions, or clutter.

No login, no installation. No algos.

Just focus.

just paste the URL and enjoy.

It also supports background playback,

so you can listen while multitasking or with your screen off.

Check it out here: Skipcut.com

Worked on this over the past month or so!

Hypertext TV — Daily and weekly TV programming for handmade games, art, and other websites.

Check it out, explore the schedule, come back later today or later this week to see different sites air! If you have something you want to submit, you can add your sites via GitHub. Code is open source.
