I wonder how many people actually watched that short movie in full

Honestly I almost want to find the Laserdisc, DVD and 2D/3D Blu-ray for a complete set

Just a reminder to use your local library, they'll often have plenty of movies and TV shows to rent either at a very low price or fully free. Perfect complement for the seven seas

Je travaille en bibliothèque, donc je vois passer beaucoup de médias locaux, du sympatique au nul à chier. Faut juste faire le tri selon nos goûts personnels

That's something I like about being Québécois, there's plenty of stuff to watch here!

I pirate most stuff anyway, and the rest I borrow it on physical media at the library, so they're not getting money anyway

I hope France will get an equivalent release eventually, love that movie!

Currently exploring my options, thinking of switching to Tuta. It sucks because I literally just paid for a Proton annual plan, looking if I can cancel it and get (part of) my money back...

Everything reminds me of him...

I have a YouTube Premium family plan spread between me, my brothers and our mom, only reason why I bother

Another advantage that I just thought about : Shelf consistency

Since remastered versions of DS9 and VOY aren't happening any time soon, I think the next best thing should be a SD-BD release, kinda like how Discotek Media are doing with some old anime titles

The advantages :

  • Better video quality, since higher bitrate
  • Better audio quality compared to DVDs
  • More episodes per disc

What would you think about such a release?

This fall I'm planning to watch the Star Trek TOS movies with some friends on discord, as well as a few episodes of TOS/TAS to introduce the characters/setting/etc. So basically I'm searching for recommendations for episodes to watch

The episodes I'm already planning :

  • Space Seed (since we'll be watching Wrath of Khan)
  • The City on the Edge of Forever
  • Yesteryear

If you have more episodes recommendations, I'd love to hear about them 😁

Love that list, although the first 10 movies are available in 4K, not just in HD. Same with Strange New Worlds.

Discovery has problems (I still like that show), but being woke it not one of them...
