Half of Adam Smith is like "here's what the capitalists seem to be doing, and it's pretty fucked up" This is proof that these guys don't even read their heroes, it's literally a secular religion with the market replacing god.

I kinda understand? Maybe? I didn't realize they went Currency A > USD > Currency B, like still using the dollar even when the US isnt involved. That probably has deep implications I'm not wrapping my head around.

Is a currency becoming weaker the same as inflation? Like u can buy less with it.

this is because a currency that’s too strong will kill your local economy. it becomes cheaper to import anything rather than produce stuff at home.

    Why thoooo

ur still paying ur own currency to other places right? So why is it worth more abroad but not in ur own country?

I simply cannot understand cause and effect when people talk about international monetary policy. Higher currency value is bad, buying debt, everything about interest rates, what counts as a bubble, it's all entirely too much 😔

Not really, I definitely had a period of my life were I didn't experience anything that I would consider romantic or sexual attraction towards women, and now I do. I don't think there's a second me in the back of my subconscious that secretly liked girls the whole time, I think "me" is a constantly changing thing, and the "real me" is whatever version of myself exists now.

    Idk tho, I don't read philosophy 😎

Obama = Mario: Upright, well mannered, professional, protects the stratus quo, crushes the enemies of the monarchy with a smile on his face

Trump = Wario: Oafish, rude, crass, obscene obsession with tacky displays wealth, does the same shit as Mario but with a low brow showman-like presentation that some people gravitate towards

Biden = Luigi. Lanky sidekick to Mario, foolish, unaware, kind/dopey affect belies a more sinister core

The next president will be a republican, in the same vein as Trump but warped and confounding. The Waluigi of presidents. It is inevitable. You heard it here first. When the Republican primaries come about, look for the most Waluigi-like candidate. They will emerge victorious.

Inspired by a recent thread. I've seen a bunch of people advocating for no shampoo lately, and I want to get to the bottom of this.

Anti-shampoo people, show yourselves, I want answers. Should we all stop doing shampoo? Is it a thing for everyone or only certain hair types? Is it superior to good shampoo + good conditioner? Do you need to do literally anything with it if you're doing no shampoo or just let it go wild? This whole thing flies in the face of everything I think I know about hair and I want ANSWERS dammit 😤
