I'm not unhappy either. I'm relatively content with my life. Things could be better but they could be much worse too.
My mom usually woke me up since she was already awake anyway but if she didn't I would've just used an alarm. I knew how to get dressed and make myself a bowl of cereal at that age and I don't need to pack a lunch because it gets served at the school for free.

Rechargeable Eneloops are Ni-Mh which makes the nominal voltage 1.2V where as the voltage on an Alkaline battery is 1.5V. The rechargeable ones are worse than normal Alkaline batteries. You can get rechargeable 1.5V Lithium AA batteries from Nitecore. Those are much better than Ni-Mhs.
