With the strikes there is no way to assume the next season has been fully planned out. Now is a great to expand the show. I'd rather more SNW than another spin-off or series.

Rating each episode is part of the problem. We have t step back from that madness and enjoy the exploration of characters, species, and story that made us fall in love with Star Trek.

The traditional American 20+ episode format is superior and I have no problems dying on this hill. It is the format that got almost everyone into Star Trek, and as such we are limiting ourselves with binge-junky 10 episode format.

Aside from any stigma, some people just don't use them. Some don't understand how they work, sometimes people forget.

Hashtags have value, but to make them essential instead of optional is a bad choice.

Watching Mastodon-stans defend the lack of search is like watching a cult-member explain an insane belief.

So far, Lemmy feels like the least cultish corner of the fediverse. That might be due t it's external focus.

If one company is pushing something (google) and several others have trouble with it (MS, Apple, Adobe) then maybe the pusher is to blame for issues?

Crap, this would make for an amazing Smokey and the Bandit remake. Instead of sneaking Coors into Texas, they're sneaking women to Colorado for health care.
