I get why it's cool to not like mainstream things, and I get the joke. But just wanted to quickly drop in, as someone that has been in music my whole life, playing it, composing it and being involved in all kinds of underground music scenes. Ed is actually a real one, the lad has talent and works hard to hone it. Sure he produces some trash consumable radio-friendly soup but listen to some of his smaller tracks and you find a lot of gold nuggets. He's also just plain impressive in how easy he makes it look and the amount of ghost writing he's done.
