Bought a pair of Sennheiser 560s for my computer but I'd like something to plug them into my phone. Of course, my phone doesn't have a headphone jack (fuck you Google) so I need an adapter. I'd prefer one that allows me to charge and plug my headphones in at the same time, but I can't find one that seems decent quality. Any help appreciated

fuck you Google

You can thank Apple for pioneering that one.

Also fuck everyone else for copying them. But fuck apple too.

I'm especially pissed at Google because they kept it around for so long after. Of course as soon as they launched a pair of wireless earbuds that weren't complete dogshit they dropped it.

Belkin makes a dongle like that, I've not had a chance to test it, but Amazon has reviews if you want to roll the dice for $10 + $5 Shipping

Here's one that I have that works great. Others are cheaper though.

The belkin ones are pretty reliable for me. They're also cheap enough that I haven't minded handing them over to family and friends as needed.

Edit: they also make a splitter so you can charge while using a usb DAC, and it works well too. If you were thinking about that kind of thing in the future

I have one of those, it’s a small adapter, and it adds ground loop noises / buzzing when charging… probably because they are made cheaply without proper isolation from the switching power supply.

They used to make docks for iPods that would do both, I would look for that style.

For some reason I can't edit my earlier post. The seller w/ that price is not Amazon...so a big YMMV. Here's one from Amazon for $30, so if you want to return it it should be less of a hassle
