I believe his point is being in way too many episodes before being dropped and forgotten about for years.

Thank you for the belly laugh, it was sorely needed.
I'm no Alexander hater, but I do believe that his early appearances could have been done with a mannequin and voiceover to the same level of effectiveness. (Possibly his later appearances too, but it's been 15+ years since I last watched those episodes.)
He is Worfs Mini-Me.

Always remember that Odo was a better father to a sickly, sentient blob he bought off of Quark than Worf was to his own son.
Plot point of the week a few times, background noise the rest of the time.
In DS9 they showed Alexander as a young teen and I wanted to see more of him. Sort of a young Worf.
In some ways, I thought that Alexander was even worse, TBH.
I don't know what he is for, I don't know what he is against, the kid don't have any agenda. What kind of bullshit is that?
