Here's our list of most active communities, and two of them don't have a community icon. I personally blame Lemmy for not putting an empty margin there to line up all the names, although it's a good reminder that we can decorate the community with an icon.

I've quickly searched, and I'm happy to clean any of these up, or clean up another suggestion, so it can be used.

I also like the design of the stick figures, although I think the Four Hands is a better logo in this context. Here's a tidy version.

Thanks! I found a high resolution version of that picture to work with from a stock image site (unnecessary in this case but good practice), then used GIMP (other photo editors can do the same) to Fuzzy select (aka. Magic Wand) the white background areas, shrink the selected area by about 10 pixels to retain a small white border, then delete the selected background to leave it transparent. With a bit of experience, this doesn't take long to do as the plain-coloured geometry is easy to select.

  • Ok cool, thank you. The reason I ask is I'm, slowly, pulling together that website for that association idea I told you about a couple months ago. I had this idea to have little drawn stick men charcters positioned in different random spots throughout the brochure website. But i's not sure what to use to remove the unnecessary background of the paper.

    Dig the 4 interlocking hands/arms

I've seen it used as a way to help carry people when somebody was injured and couldn't walk.

You hold one of your forearm/wrists, and one of the other persons. Then they do the same to you, and you have a 'seat' with easy balance for the 'passenger' amongst the shoulders of the carriers.

Helps to have carriers swap in and out, as everyone ends up with a burner ;)
