Donating unsellable shares is a real Magic Beans gambit.

But why stop at a few shares? The US could simply nationalize the whole company and fold it into NASA.

Our current leadership won't. Our future leadership won't, either. But it would have been nice if they'd take the option seriously.

They would love if it was nationalised. They'd cash out on fantasy money valuation.

No more treating IOUs like money.

But... Doesn't the whole monetary system rely on them?

Lots of big conversations to be had in the future.

I think all public companies should be required to have a board member placed by the government. A person who is not allowed to have shares in the company. It's the boards of companies that are the problem way more than ceos are.

That is what the CCP does to ensure compliance with party policy and stop large companies from acting against the people/governments wishes.

Looks like it is effective somewhat but it doesn't stop all company abuses of workers, like the whole practice of 9 9 6.

Would be a step in the right direction though.
