This is mostly bullshit though. The real problem is the ultra-rich. Grandparents who have a million dollars are not destroying the fabric of society.

It's a class war, but don't get played by Fortune. They will always lie about who did what to placate their ultra-rich owners.

A million dollars is not 'ultra-rich,' that's more than 10% of the US.

Anyone who has significant exposure to the stock market - 401k, IRA, whatever - "made" a lot through the AI bubble these past 3 years. That's the top end, and if you believe the AI bubble will burst, then all those rich old people are about to lose their paper wealth.

Inflation disproportionately affects the low end, where an extra $50 on gas or $200 on rent means they're no longer saving, or dipping into the emergency fund to pay bills.

It is a class war. It's structural, and it's not just the billionaires benefiting.

in a normal version of the timeline, sane rational Americans are storming the FBI head quarters al la the French and the Bastille. y'know ACTUALLY exercising the 2nd amendment.

the difference is technology has mesmerized the masses and the average human will be denied justice until the internet propaganda machine is brought to heel.

the key is the brain washing i hate to say it, but this 80's comic book ish trope has won the day.

my evidence is the lack of ubiquitous critical thinking.

This is because the 1% and/or republicans have been:

    • chipping away at the middle class and below through wage stagnation
    • taking away healthcare
    • making universities extremely expensive while also raking in the bucks through their sports contracts. If they're separated, then they're even more of a piece of shit. They did that on purpose.
    • price fixed rentals which makes it very hard for younger people to get homes as investments for themselves. It also keeps them enslaved to the corporate landlords
    • corporations bought up all of the housing and either rent it out as airbnbs/homes or tore them down to make "luxury" apartments that they price fix.

    Gen A is fucked.

Xennials and Gen-X either lost a little or made a little (-4 to +6). So, no even inflation.

    I'm tired boss.
