An AI filter would be amazing and such a flex on Epic :)

It was truly disgusting to see how much slop has taken over this event.

  • Even my "Discovery" queue is 90% slop. Thafuq, Steam. You were supposed to be the chosen one.

Pleeeease this would be great. Hopefully we can also get a useful report/punishment system for devs failing to disclose AI use.

Wishlists are the best filter against any kind of slop already. If they fail nothing works.

Would need a good definition for what is an "AI" game. Maybe 3-5 tags saying how much it was used in the development.

Did the devs use LLM coding tools with proper human reviewed code?
Did the devs use LLM generated artwork?
Did the devs just type "make a copy of this game" and post what got spit out?

First option is going to be in the bulk of games made going forward. Second will probably be in a lot of games. Third should just be banned outright.

edit: If it's just a "was AI used in the creation of this game" then everything is going to have an AI tag. It'll be like California's Prop 65 where the tag means nothing cause everything has it.

If it uses code/art that was stolen from someone else or denied someone who could have produced that code/art a job then I don't want it. If that's the majority of games going forward, then I guess I'll just play classics or go outside and become social or something
