playing to milion/billionaire fears of working class reprisals these days

like i bet there already is a massive grift around terrorizing billionaires with proletarian boogeymen in order to drive them to be more insular and spend more on being protected

Does anybody wanna get in on this and help me grift stupid people

If you can get in, it's a great grift.

Step one (Mandatory): have a verified net worth over $50 million and multiple other people with a verified net worth over $100 million each who can vouch for you having that $50 million.

Probably one of our best hopes as a species honestly, that as they build their death fortresses and underground bunkers, the working class contractors hired to build it are just ripping them off and they'll find out their impregnable fortresses aren't nearly as tough as they thought they were.

There was a season of Fargo kinda about this: international finance ghoul (David Thewlis) descends on midwest small business tyrant (Ewan McGregor) warns him about all the peasant hordes with their pitchforks coming for him, Thewlis does a bunch of financial wizardry (re: Fraud) to "protect" McGregor, then pulls the rug out from underneath this midwest doofus and runs off with all the money.

    E) Thinking back on it, it might be my favorite season. If you didn't guess already, Ewan McGregor's character basically ruins the lives of everyone around him in the process of getting fleeced. Fatally so in a few cases. If you liked the movie Eddington you'll like Fargo S3.
