A disappointing number of people are against slop when it negatively affects their income but will all too readily use slop themselves when it saves them money on some other task they would normally pay someone else to do

It's sad to see artists willingly accept slop outside of their craft.

I've seen musicians defend their use of ai slop on the cover art because what matters is the music, I recall an interview of a book author defending the usage of ai slop on his book cover because, well, don't judge a book by it's cover.

I even attended a photography book launch where the author proudly announced that the foreword was written by a LLM.
