If you find yourself thinking, "Wait a second... surviving a siege? A real, actual siege in this day and age? That sounds completely unbelievable!"—well, you wouldn't be wrong. In fact, you'd be entirely right to feel that way.

The idea that a siege still exists in our modern, supposedly civilized world does sound surreal. It feels like something pulled from the pages of a medieval history book, not a reality that my family and I are enduring at the very moment you are reading these words. And yet, shockingly and tragically, this isn't a historical reenactment or an exaggerated metaphor. This is my actual, daily reality here in Gaza.

Before the war, my dream was simple: I wanted to continue my education, build a future, and one day be able to support my parents, my brother, and my sister. Like millions of young people around the world, I believed that with hard work, determination, and education, I could build a better life.

Then the war came and everything changed. For nearly three years, my family and I have been living in a displacement camp. Every day has become a struggle just to survive:

Severe Heat & Tent Life: Summer heat turns our tent into an oven, making daily living unbearable.

Water Scarcity: Clean water is extremely difficult to find, requiring long walks carrying heavy buckets. Every liter matters.

Food & Resource Shortages: Food is scarce and basic items have become far too expensive.

Medical Care: Healthcare is extremely limited, making even simple illnesses frightening.

How is it that in the 21st century, my family is denied food, clean water, medicine, and even hope? Cut off from the most basic human needs simply because of where we were born and live.

And that is precisely why I am reaching out to you today... because my family and I urgently need your help, and there is a direct way to get that support to us.

Thanks to my friend Gerrit Elbrink, who is personally overseeing this campaign, every single cent of your donation will go directly to me and my family. There are no transfer fees, no hidden charges, and no middleman organizations taking a cut. Everything arrives intact—a direct, person-to-person lifeline. Unlike physical aid shipments that are routinely blocked or delayed due to severe restrictions, your financial support will make it through quickly and safely.

Since donations often slow down or stall for long stretches, I truly hope you will continue to support me and share my link with everyone you know.

I am not just trying to survive; I am clinging to my dream of completing my university education. I have received an official acceptance from the University of Glasgow in Scotland! For me, this is more than an academic opportunity—it is a dream I have carried for years to study in Europe, gain knowledge, build a career, and return that opportunity to my family by saving them from the heat of the tents and the cruelty of hunger.

Financial Breakdown:

Tuition Fees (University of Glasgow): £33,200

Emergency Needs & Tent Renovation: $1,700

(In addition to travel expenses and basic living costs)

We have no one left to turn to but kind-hearted people like you. Will you welcome me to Europe and help me get there to build a future?

Please consider donating even just $5 or $10—every bit matters. Every single cent counts and brings us one step closer to relief and education. There is no feeling more heartbreaking than watching your dreams collapse before your eyes while feeling completely powerless to stop it.
