it can be a bit jarring at first but you will never go back after you get the hang of it.

congrats on finally owning your computer

The gang claims another victim.
You will never want to use Windows again, trust me.
I've only used Linux VR with wireless headsets, so I can't advise further, but apparently PSVR2 is usable: https://vronlinux.org/docs/hardware/psvr2/
If you don't understand anything on that page then you should check out the chatroom linked in the sidebar.
What map game you playin' on it first?
Probably Civ V, wondering if it’s less jank without Windows. Alt tabbing to switch my YouTube video would crash it like 50% of the time
Hoping someone gets drivers up and running for psvr2 because that’s the only thing I can’t get working. Really don’t want to set up a Windows partition for it but I also want to play Beat Saber.
I have to do this for my flight sim controllers and the occasional game that doesn't play well outside of Windows.
i built a little mini gaming pc for my living room PC and put bazzite on it, it's been great. Anything that runs on steamdeck will run on my gaming box
Congrats on making the switch!
welcome to being free-r. I'm on Mint which is an Ubuntu fork. So not too familiar with the Bazzite. Was going to suggest some things but it seems Brazzite is very different and has it's own thing.
Have fun discovering and making it your own.
Sorry, gonna be that "um akshully" guy here, my bad, but small correction. Mint is not technically a fork of Ubuntu, it is it's own distro that is based-off of Ubuntu.
I'm sure now some even more pedantic "um akshully" goblin is gonna comment and tell me how Mint is actually a fork of Ubuntu.
👏
The machine I was running it on died, but at one point I had steamvr running on PopOS. Steamlink didn't work great at the time but I think was able to use alvr alright.
