Full title: John C Woods, hangman of Nuremberg trials, who lied about his experience to get the job (he actually learned about hanging from old cowboy films). His lack of expertise led to excessive suffering of condemned Nazis.

If you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life.

Condemned men should be treated with respect. This isn't about the moral quality of the condemned, but the quality of the society that commits to execution.

The Nuremberg trials were a triumph of the rules-based international system. This fool undermined all of that.

This kind of rhetoric is extremely harmful, as it encourages people to not critically examine the moral impacts of their own actions. Nazis were people. If you believe that only evil people do evil things, and that you're a good person, you are priming yourself to excuse any atrocity you might enact or support.

It's because of people with this softcore thought on nazis than those motherfuckers are feeling confortable enough to parade on streets and show their faces on public without consequences.

Those vermin need to know we don't fear them, instead they should fear us, they should know they would die if they don't crawl back to tbe sewers where they belong, like cockroaches

show their faces on public without consequences.

Aren't they still hiding their faces?

There is a huge difference between not fearing them and saying they aren't humans.

There is also a huge difference between killing them (which wasn't even objected here) and saying they aren't humans.

Botching executions seems to be a theme with the USA.

Is this a problem? I dont use reddit and like seeing (proven) interesting posts here?

It’s not a problem if you’re not worried about one person monopolizing a community by using a script to repost the top posts in a community of seventeen million but if you don’t have a problem with that why not just use Reddit instead?

Lots of reasons people don't use reddit but still want content

Same. Naturally some good stuff will occasionally come from there or even less likable places. I just don't want all of it coming from one guy. Especially when they don't even engage, they just mill posts endlessly without any thought at all

In some ways it is easier if it comes from one account. Easier to block if you don't like, and less chance of duplicate posts.

I guess I'm not seeing the issue from having it come from one bot.

Sadly, this person is not one bot. There's been this whole thing about it, they're one person operating a large number of automated accounts that they refuse to mark as bots.

On a certain level, I'm probably just being petty that they're hogging the feed and interaction from other people. But I'd like to pretend it's actively making user interactions more superficial and attention-driven.

Huh, I wonder if it's the same person behind mustachius that keeps posting on history memes, it's the same MO

This one showed up at the exact same time as all the other Moustachious accounts. He seems to want to put one repost bot per community.

The one called "Sanitation" has been around much longer so I won't personally point the finger there but others have.

if it was just one bot it wouldn't be as much of an issue, the problem is it's more than one. I've already blocked two eerily similar repost accounts on other comms and I don't want to keep playing whack-a-mole

    Hanging?

Yeah, careful flaying from forehead down just slow enough to ensure no passing out and then a nice slow roast at the stake is a more appropriate form of punishment for Nazis, Fascists, Racists/Racial Supremacists, Homophobes, Transphobes, etc.

Here is the thing, you really need to know how to do THAT.. otherwise they'll die of shock or something else.

The main issue i have with getting conned by a wrong hangman is that its just so unprofessional

If you cut the skin off the meat will dry out. You gotta roast 'em at a temperature that renders the fat under the skin making the skin crispy.

Meh, rather starve than eat long pig. Not to mention they should be scared shitless before death, which we all know makes the meat all stringy and tough. No thanks, I'll settle for witnessing the suffering of the monsters.

Talking about suffering, the same cowboy movies that falsely made cinema goers believe all American men had guns.
