All warmer weather states. Interesting. Optimistic me would have hoped for states where bicycles are more feasible year-round would invest more in infrastructure.

  • Those are all places that were relatively sparsely populated until the widespread use of air conditioning, which coincided with the takeover of city planning by auto company interests. Also things like the interstate highway system.

This is interesting but I'm not sure how useful. Many districts are wacky gerrymandered spaghetti. And I feel like the car violence in many districts isn't due to the federal politician so much as local issues, car brains/cult, racism, etc.

For example district 3 in AZ is basically downtown Phoenix. I don't know how much I would blame the current congressperson for that. It seems like a more deeply ingrained problem with the city and state.

what excuses are they making? They said that rhe problem is THE PEOPLE not the representative . And yes in my opinion the people are always the problem when a chronic issue keeps om and keeps on occurring or getting worse. The people are the ones who do the majority of the work to construct and upkeep car-centric imfrastructure not a random elected official.... so shouldnt the people be the ones to blame instead when a chronic problem keeps on and keeps on occurring?

Bro if the average person in downtown phoenix held a weapon to the head of every constriction worker , architect , civil engineer in that district that proposed or attempted to worked on a new car -centric peice of infrastructure....what do you think phoenix would look like in 25 years?... far less car centric thats for certain.
