…faster launches? There’s already consumer burnout from the constant update cycle. This says to me, he doesn’t have any new ideas, no path to actual improvements, so he’s falling back on the bad management strategy of “cut labor + do existing practices but more.”

The one thing that’s really been hurting me under capitalism is that I only get 1 iPhone a year. It needs to be scaled to at least a new phone/month for me to be truly happy in my life.

“Labor laws force poor porky to downsize!”
Porky after literal decades of trickle down: “It has come to my attention I like money. So if I fire half my workforce, have the rest do their jobs free of charge. That’s more money for me! Why hire more than the smallest I can get away with?”

Quantitative change leading to qualitative change. We’re entering a phase transition of monopoly capitalism, not that monopoly didn’t exist already, but it’s taking on a more overt political role than in the past. Everyone was focused on Elon with DOGE as a novelty, but imo it’s the new normal going forward, no matter who is in office. It makes sense from a materialist perspective, as the power of these transnational corporations is arguably larger than state power in 2026.
