    Sure, he can do that, but that won't stop them from covering him and his administration anyway, except they'll just cover the straight facts and statistics, and won't cover ANY spin from the White House. Nothing they say will get on air.

    With some people running for congress trying to distance themselves from trump, I wonder if this was not only a distraction but also a way to keep trump from doing his usual "saying super dumb things in public" activity on TV.
