Corn chex, cheerios, peanuts, and pretzels. Chex mix seasoning packets, butter, some extra garlic powder, white pepper, worch, and a lil msg. Very happy with how this batch turned out! :)

Never understood the peanuts, they're too smooth and dense, so they always wind up at the bottom of the bowl anyway. And rye chips are a necessary component, non-negotiable.

Otherwise looks good

I would wonder what the difference is between the little packet and this recipe:

I'd probably add msg or chicken bullion/mushroom powder to the mix.

Hmm honestly looks like not using the packet and just judging the seasoning myself may have been a better way to go.

Packet ingredients: salt, maltodextrin, dried Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, dextrose, sodium stearoyl lactylate, calcium stearate, and soybean oil

So yea, noted that for next time. Heh. Thanks.

To make it messy you could drizzle some hot honey on it :)

Ha, funny that you say that. As it was cooking, my partner was like "Oh we should've got hot honey to put on some of it!"

Apparently chex mix + hot honey is a thing, I had no idea. Haha.

If it's good with drizzled chocolate/fudge, hot honey is definitely an option.
Probably some chili chocolate would be better to avoid the mess but get some sweet and hot into it :)

Everything + hot honey is a thing. It's amazing. Don't recommend buying it though. Just mix honey with your favorite hot sauce.

Ohhh good to know, thanks! Do you have a favorite? I like the idea of making our own and I'd use local honey, but I don't have a "favorite" hot sauce! We've just used Frank's in our buffalo chicken dip! Haha.
