    And power! Never forget the rules are there for America to subject power. The world would be too no use if everyone is just at war and this was the default state for centuries!

    Of course it feels like progress if you attach small countries and steal what you like but at some point a bigger country says no that's mine and you have a conflict. With no one to step up or anything a war is a given.

    Cry baby has swapped out judges in the US. Now with Netanyahu's pillow talk, he's trying for planet wide removal of law.

    Unfortunately, within the US, he effectively isn't bound by any laws as far as we can tell.

    It's absolutely insane that he would expect the world to follow suit while we're dealing with a rather special sort of derangement here.

    From over here in Europe it's like watching an awful episode of Pinky and the Brain.... Only there is no brain.

    For those of us watching the meltdown on the inside, it's pretty damn terrifying. Especially if we paid attention at all to history classes.

    I can feel your pain. The morons are growing in numbers here. Many may forget history but we have some who think that whatever is happening to you guys is good and needed here.

    only Naoero, a tiny Pacific island nation formerly known as Nauru, has followed suit.

    As it happens this is where Australia dumps unwanted refugees, which may well be an international crime, which would explain it.

    Few =/= one. Bad headline.

    Since Rubio announced the campaign, Venezuela and Chad have announced plans to withdraw from the court.

    Venezuela is heading towards being a US vassal state. Not sure about Chad, but I'll guess at heinous crimes being a factor.

    Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger announced their exits the previous year, denouncing the court as an instrument of "neocolonial repression."

    Well, they can't be said to be following US lead then, but heinous crimes likely applies as well (still guessing).

    Some of those are minority dissenters who are more about rescuing their own despots or expressing their ideological alignment or Naoero, which regularly seesaws to either side of hegemonies in exchange for something. As for my country, the Philippines, we are seeing the benefits of what the ICC can do, such as prosecuting Duterte for his crimes against humanity.

    Why would they want to leave the international cricket council?

    The international law based system is actually very useful for many smaller nations, even if rogue superpowers no longer wish to participate in it.

    he tells them to quit, so he can give putin more breathing room, and more distractions from the files.
