Depends on the circumstances but generally, you'd just use a VPN to connect from a location that does not require them to use it. If the site uses it regardless, you're kinda screwed if they didn't provide any alternate login method.

You could resort to scrapes/archives of the site or using a fake ID, but IMO, if a site makes it that much of a pain in the ass to use, it's not worth my time anymore. If every site starts doing this, I guess I'll just start reading more books instead of articles and websites.

If it's a state- or country-level requirement, one solution is a VPN to connect from a different region.

If it's global, ie everybody has to age verify, then I'll probably be buying stolen IDs and using those--and I'm over 18, it's just nobody's business who I am exactly.

If it requires ID globally then I'm not using it. I'm not going to implicate some poor sod who had their identity stolen while giving the people who did it money. If I really had to use it I guess I'd use a fake I'd generator

Not OP but will I have to use the VPN each time when accessing the platform? For example; if I want to follow certain art on Twitter, I use a VPN and make an account. Do I have to keep using the VPN or after making the account, that’s it?

Firefox has a VPN built-in, there's loads of free ones but you do risk your traffic being exposed to shady entities. But yes I use a VPN to reach certain sites that are blocked in my state. I will not ID for anything internet related

I've had a torguard VPN account for almost a decade now for when I used to download my movies and music. But nzb and soul seek has kind of not needed that. But I'll always have a VPN available.

I think mine is 25 or $30 a year for up to 10 devices and it gets used quite a bit.

Wasn't there a massive data leak recently where millions of scans of drivers' licenses appeared on the dark web including Pete Hesgeth's? My first order of preference would be to grab that and use it, or some other suitably deplorable regime member. Don't use one of anyone actually innocent.

Plan B would be to ask one of the slop generators to invent a face to slap on a fake ID and upload that. Fight fire with fire. If motherfuckers want to inflict this dumb shit on us, we'll hand 'em dumb shit right back. In fact, that's basically the only valid use case for AI slop I'm willing to support.
