Plans.

Sunday night can be shit when you're looking at 40 hours of work, 5 planned lunches, 5 planned dinners, 49vhours if doom scrolling and videogames.

But if you say "Tuesday I'm gonna go for a walk at the local park. I'm gonna see if my friend can join." You now have something that breaks that monotony to look forward too.

Start small.

first full time job at age 20, i was like wtf is this ? 40-50 years of this shit!!! kill me now.

and then planned and schemed to be retired at 30, that kept me going

ended up part time work at 35 and retired at 40, now 61.

only regret is, didn't retire earlier

Side project(s) to help take my mind off of things. Also, because some things I have to deal with regardless, a pen and paper helps me formulate an "attack plan":

    • what am I supposed to do?
    • why?
    • how?
    • etc.

Training, gym sessions are the most anticipated part of the day and will keep me going until the next session.
