    There's bots all over various subs calling this AI and saying how grateful we actually are to have him visiting.

    Bizarre and scary in equal measure.

    If a politician or news account (eg Virgin Media, The Journal, Social Democrats etc) post on TikTok, there are so many bots commenting that there is no point in me leaving a supportive comment. It won’t even be seen. I just liked the posts and moved on (until I deleted the app). So it’s very bad on any platforms I’ve seen.

    Whether it’s podcasts, social media, etc, the fash own the internet at the moment.

    Given the public nature of the display (assuming it is real) it would not at all surprise me to learn that they actually could get in trouble for "obscenity" due to some ass backwards law somewhere on the books. Especially in Virginia, where everything is famously illegal.

    Perhaps it's a fill in the blank holder for international readers. In Ireland an 'e' would be appropriate. Elsewhere a 'u'.

    Joking aside, I thought it was silly until someone else pointed out that doing this makes it more likely to be picked up by mainstream media.

    If that was her motivation it was smart AF. There's an audio interview with the lady involved and it wouldn't surprise me but she doesn't go into it.

    Well you plastic ocean...I never knew you were the mod (and with the greatest respect, nor have I ever read the rules tbh). Thanks for providing a source though and not being heavy handed. Sound.

    Edit: I did get it from my daughter who gave me a link to the journal though so it wasn't random bullshit.
