I believe it's in Ireland.

If it's real, I'm surprised they didn't spell it. I'd think the Irish wouldn't give a fxck.

    Perhaps it's a fill in the blank holder for international readers. In Ireland an 'e' would be appropriate. Elsewhere a 'u'.

    Joking aside, I thought it was silly until someone else pointed out that doing this makes it more likely to be picked up by mainstream media.

    If that was her motivation it was smart AF. There's an audio interview with the lady involved and it wouldn't surprise me but she doesn't go into it.
