iNaturalist visual ID suggested it could be one of the four species of mushrooms commonly called Destroying Angel.

certainly looks like it: General shape and size, hanging veil, white gills, "flaky" stem..
And most importantly i can't see anything that would hint at any other ID.

    Most likely. It's a shame the base of the stem and volva isn't intact because that really helps with Amanita ID.
