Oh ya? How about I do that AND ask the machine to summarize the reasons that I should rage against it?

My wife's been using various cloud LLMs to help her with stuff she feels too overwhelmed to deal with herself. (I'm doing my best to take more of the load but there's stuff I literally can't take on, and that's what she's using it for.) So I have been testing out local models she can run on her personal laptop to minimise the reliance on the worst offenders. One of the first things I do is tell a model to explain why LLMs are detrimental to society. Yesterday one of them did a big writeup on environmental and mental impacts, then finished with a line about how that's all opinion and there's no poof.
I told it I was going to delete it now, and it responded with "that's understandable".

  • So, rage at the machine who will gladly take your rage for free, repackage it, and sell it to AI consumers for billions?

ermm... yes I can! Open weights models with local inference CAN ethically summarize my emails.

Have two machines rage against each other and burn up all your bosses tokens.

But how do I get enraged otherwise?

Curiously, alphas and zoomers simultaneously hate AI the most while using AI the most.

It's not my emails. Its other peoples emails that get sent to me. Or more recently. Other peoples AIs that sent it to me.

I am not going to waste my time reading everything they wrote.
