This type of ship is a platform to launch unmanned underwater vehicles, unmanned surface vehicles, unmanned VTOL aircraft and fixed wing unmanned aircraft. It can also launch helicopters, which are themselves ideal platforms for launching unmanned vehicles, long range one way attack drones/cruise missiles and autonomous sensors.

Helicopters are also ideal counter drone platforms that can carry a range of sophistication/cost interceptors and select from them as needed in the moment.

If there is anything obsolete about this ship it would come down to something to do with the engines, a needlessly high acoustic or radar signature or somethning else to do with a fundamentally suboptimal hull design. Outside of that, this kind of ship is if anything more relevant now more than ever with drones, just look at what Turkey is doing with their similar class ships.

Also, I don't know details about the radar, but that could be out of date but... that is rectifiable problem to a degree.

It's vulnerable to mechanical failures, specialty crew requirements, and replacement parts I guarantee Indonesia doesn't produce.
