“Someday, your children will come across your disgusting and inhumane question. They will be sickened and embarrassed to have a parent be so callous and vindictive. It’s quite troubling.”

Jesus fucking christ. These fucking babies that can't handle being asked basic questions without throwing a tantrum and then publically insulting the asker and dragging her kids into it. "Disgusting", "inhumane", "callous" and "vindictive", indeed. Every one of those words describes this response, not this journalist.

[-] Almacca@aussie.zone 10 points 10 hours ago

I saw that clip on Internet Today. I wish she'd said "And you're a fucking arsehole. Answer the goddamn question."

She'd never be able to go back, but it'd be worth it, and her name would be legend.

[-] RaoulDuke25@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 7 hours ago

Or "you're a child rapist, answer the question, please."

Lifelong misogynist scumbag continues to misogynize…

[-] Snowies@lemmy.zip 13 points 19 hours ago

One of these days he’s really gonna pull out all the stops and let loose…

And every last naysayer will catch a glimpse of the man behind the curtains, and 340 million Americans will be frozen in place while we all process and look at that insane 33% who still supports him like “What this time? How are you gonna sweep this one under the rug?”

I bet he either drops the N word live from the White House before he dies, or he’s going to call a reporter the F slur for not being a sociopathic sycophant like everyone else around him.

i am sorry to say this, but the magats wont care. They will celebrate. Source: family members I dont talk to anymore

[-] JeeBaiChow@lemmy.world 6 points 15 hours ago

'Doesnt matter. His opponent had a funny laugh' - us voters, probably.

[-] Catma@lemmy.world 8 points 18 hours ago

Think you are missing the obvious one of him calling a female reporter a bitch or more likely a cunt.

[-] abcdqfr@lemmy.world 13 points 17 hours ago

"Quiet, piggy."

[-] Abyssian@lemmy.world 41 points 1 day ago

I'm sick of this shit. He's gone off on women like this at least a dozen times now and not a single person in the room ever opens their mouth to say a word about it. The entire lot is spineless and pathetic.

The only "fury" is back in the safety of their hotel and news rooms way past the moment people should have spoken up about it.

[-] sin_free_for_00_days@sopuli.xyz 5 points 13 hours ago

Reporters are so trained not to make themselves part of the story that they are unable to respond when they are forced to be part of the story. Also, corporate news, sponsors, etc.

[-] artyom@piefed.social 4 points 17 hours ago

Clapping back is a great way to never get invited back to The White House. That responsibility doesn't lie with reporters, it lies with Americans.

[-] JeeBaiChow@lemmy.world 0 points 15 hours ago

Its just easier to complain about it on the interwebs. Smfh

For anyone curious, the journalist is Kristen Holmes and she asked him about this remark from Senator Jon Ossoff:

“While the sailors on the Lincoln fight his war, while he fruitlessly drains our munitions and oil reserves, the president sleeps through his meetings. He golfs and trades stocks. So he doesn’t want to do the job, he wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the emir of Qatar.”

"Natalie" refers to Natalie Harp.

The article I've linked has this to say about Ms. Harp:

In a 2024 profile, The New York Times said Harp writes “devotional” letters to Trump, including messages like "You are all that matters to me” and “I want to bring you joy,” as well as one calling him her “Guardian and Protector in this Life.”

That same article claimed that others in Trump’s orbit described her as the “human printer” because she would travel with a portable printer to print things for him, and that she types his social media messages and posts them for him.

Over the summer, her brother, Preston Harp, said his sister’s relationship with the president was “very unhealthy".

“She’s just like his fan club,” he told the Daily Mail.

[-] churrodestroyer@lemmy.zip 18 points 1 day ago

Eww, the DailyMail

“Someday, your children will come across your disgusting and inhumane question. They will be sickened and embarrassed to have a parent be so callous and vindictive. It’s quite troubling.”

Someday, you'll be hung for treason, and all of your meat puppet micropenis cuck followers will pretend they always had a fundamental disagreement with your regime. The jury will eat this one up, so keep on being a catty cunt, it'll just make the smile to fear transition on your face that much sweeter when the verdict is announced.

Nice dream but never happening.

Disappointed that Huff Post made no effort to say what was the question was and is instead helping Trump to distract from the topic that made the President of the United States so uncomfortable that he launched into another of his infantile tantrums.

Having heard the exchange elsewhere, I gathered it was something about North Korea and Kim Jong-Un, but I could not make out the specifics.

I feel like the story should be "Trump desperately tries to avoids questions on relationship with North Korea".

[-] raze2012@lemmy.world 2 points 10 hours ago

It was asking for his opinion on Jon Ossoff's statements he made last week. Which should honestly be a softball question for a politician. But ofc we continue to see how fragile that ego is

[-] joe@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago

I was just writing up a comment with some details. You can find them by following one of the links in the article, which I have linked in my comment.

It did seem odd that the information wasn't readily available for context in the article.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago

The pedophile is judging others?

Also, calling her loud and boisterous? Hm, nothing coded about that, now is there?

[-] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 11 points 1 day ago

This dumb fucking hump thinks her descendants will be embarrassed by their great grandmother speaking truth to power? They'll boast about it.

Meanwhile, his descendants will deny their relation to him, and change their name from Trump to anything else, like Hitler's relatives did. The Trump name will disappear within three generations.

Funny how the trump, who keeps taking the woman he raped to court, calls a reporter callous and vindictive for asking for a comment on Ossoffs recently noting that trump left Rubio to die, but made sure to take his 20 something blonde super fan with him instead

[-] Malyca@lemmy.zip 5 points 1 day ago

She's in her 30s now, he'll have to trade her in soon

[-] mrmisses@lemmy.world 15 points 1 day ago

What a little bitch

Ask that question some more, it obviously had an effect. Compete for the most inappropriate White House response. Not like you're getting actual information out of him during these things.

[-] WesternInfidels@feddit.online 8 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

They will be sickened and embarrassed to have a parent be so callous and vindictive.

Oh look, somebody left the thesaurus out where the White House staffers found find it.

This is so lame. Nothing about the "point" being made is noteworthy, the phrasing isn't even entertaining or memorable. I've already forgotten what it said. "Reporter bad argle bargle," which is what the White House says every day now.

Insulting reporters makes you look weak. What does it mean when you can't even come up with a good insult?

[-] UncleArthur@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

I assume it was Natalie herself who posted the reply by the White House. I think the reporter hit a nerve!

[-] NaibofTabr@infosec.pub 7 points 1 day ago

Oh my, hit a nerve did she?

[-] antianarchist@sopuli.xyz 4 points 1 day ago

The number of times I have read “sparks fury” in context of a news related to Trump is just too damn high.

What are you gonna do? Send a formal complaint?

[-] Tolookah@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 1 day ago

I can't find it, what was the question?

Was it "why do you need a ballroom if you don't have any balls, conceding to North Korea as you did?"

[-] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago

I didn't think anything was going on between Trump and his emotional support pet, but MAGA responded so quickly, and so strongly, that now I'm fairly convinced that there is something going on. He's got himself his own Monica Lewinsky.
