Getting my first Apple Watch. I have the budget for the 9 but only wanted it mainly so I won’t have to always carry my phone on me and as an accessory lol so should I just get the SE or still get the 9?

I would get the Apple Watch Series 9 if I could afford it

Keep in mind that the Apple Watch is not an iPhone replacement for most people

Do you need fast charging, always on display, bigger screen, ECG, double tap.. etc? If you do, you should get series 9.

If you just need the basic features or don’t want to pay as much, you should take a look at SE features to see if it will satisfy your need.
