Tom's should be able to crunch the numbers themselves. "Scientist says" should be reserved for things with a confidence interval.

And it's all fake since neither the demand nor the supply exists, it's all future promises to buy/sell what get manufactured. As soon as the data centers collapse and cancel their orders, the prices will plummet if no new fad takes it's place. One of many ripples this bubble pop is going to trigger since so much is based on lies and promises not supply and demand.

it's like they're doing everything they can to make the sabotaging of datacenters as appealing as possible, next step is to label every datacenter with the value of the components inside.

I partially blame the whole Oracle / OpenAI / NVIDIA cabal.

But, let's not ignore the memory cartel's involvement in this sham. Shitbags left themselves vulnerable to a demand crash with tiny numbers of competitors (three), tiny amounts of facilities to produce RAM, and the corporate stranglehold to keep it that way.

You say that like it wasn't intentional demand manipulation on the part of Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron. They have been colluding for years to manipulate the market between the three of them, so of course the system collapsed as soon as something they didn't see coming happened (COVID, then the AI boom)
