Delete it. It started great but it's bloated corpo shit now. Let's start over with a fresh Internet.

Thank you. Any client you'd recommend?

If you want a modern browser, I recommend Lagrange, it's cross-platform. If you're a more CLI-minded person, I love Amfora, even if it's in maintenance mode.

got a ways to go yet. ddg (search assist) says the total size of all content on the (public) internet is 120 zettabytes (as of 2023). that's 1.2x10^23 bytes; you're "only" at 1.718x10^19 bytes.

Hey, come on now, 19/23 is pretty close to finished

What filesystem can address exabytes?

[-] Klear@piefed.world 4 points 1 day ago

Hate when that happens. Ran into exactly this a few weeks ago

[-] ignotum@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

You're trying to download a bunch of stuff from a website so you press the "download all" button, not realizing it is referring to all of the internet

Hate it when that happens

Had to delete most of the internet afterwards. Hope I didn't trash something people were using.

I mean, all the websites in the world are probably using that much disk space collectively, so it's technically correct...?
