It's an iPhone 13. Bat life is still decent for use. I was planning to replace it when the iPhone 16 came out initially, but looking at the rate things are progressing. Should I wait more? Should I wait for the iPhone 17 or something? My iPhone has a tiny scratch on it so I won't get much for trade-in πŸ˜”

I usually start thinking about replacing the battery or the phone at the 3 year mark. You could easily replace the battery for $100 and get 2 more years out of it. I kept my last phone for 4 1/2 years.

Yeeeee... I am probs gonna replace the battery then. No point buying a new phone.

iPhone 19 gonna slap so hard.

Seriously get a new phone when you need it. You’ll never the win the wait-for-something-better game.

I doubt the tiny scratch would affect trade-in at all. My 12 mini had a few chips on the sides of the cameras, frame, and scratches on the screen and they accepted it for the maximum price on their site.

i have a 13 mini and i would probably hold on for another 1-2 years. only thing that interested me on the 15 was the USB C port.
