It's an iPhone 13. Bat life is still decent for use. I was planning to replace it when the iPhone 16 came out initially, but looking at the rate things are progressing. Should I wait more? Should I wait for the iPhone 17 or something? My iPhone has a tiny scratch on it so I won't get much for trade-in ๐Ÿ˜”

I usually start thinking about replacing the battery or the phone at the 3 year mark. You could easily replace the battery for $100 and get 2 more years out of it. I kept my last phone for 4 1/2 years.
