Primarily, yes but Samsung is a chaebol who do a lot more than that, including operating hospitals

They make smart watches, and half the features of these smart watches are health and fitness data.

Somewhat misleading. The data is only deleted from your samsung account if you refuse, but you can still keep and track it on device.

Yes, that can we worded much better but the grammar checking people and software developing people have different communication styles.

I'm not in the all-or-nothing crowd. I can both have an account to make my life easier without seeing nag screens about accounts AND store absolutely no data in there. Also I recommend making a totally new account everytime with wrong genders to throw off the numbers.
