To be honest, if you can afford the other upgrades you should opt for 1TB. These machines last years and years, they'll still be good in 2030 (which is just over 6 years from now). 512GB should be the base storage for these Pro devices, you never know what you're going to do in the future. It's always better to have more and be able to use it than to need it down the road for special projects, savings a family member from losing all their items or anything really.

I would say better even 2TB. You never know how you are going to use it in 5 years
