The modern day police have consistently and nationally shown the cowardly petty asshole persona that is drawn to the position - reform may not be able to correct this. A new organization may have to emerge from the ashes as the current one becomes a story one tells their children to frame unbecoming behavior and folly so they may avoid becoming a poor behaving human - we will see how this all turns out....

Let me start a fire: the fact that most Americans can't be bothered to get out and support the few who are trying to make a stand makes them no different - cowardly petty assholes who yap on the internet yet implicitly allow it to keep getting worse and worse.

That kid has bigger balls than most of America, fight me.

That's almost right on - that little girl has more power poise and honor than the combined whole of the group of masked neo-nazi shills that marched to washington, and the armored masked badge and gun-toting fucks that defended those shills 'rights' to 'protest' - that's why they assaulted that child @ a protest There will be a reckoning - the ones on the wrong side, are wrong - win or lose

With enough heat and pressure, these shits can be diamonds. A little global warming and some food insecurity might do.

With enough shutting-the-fuck-up, armchair revolutionaries can once more pass as bearable human beings. A little this-guy-pretends-to-have-empathy and this-guy-isn't-actively-being-an-idiot might do.

Start voting with bricks instead of paper, the French know what's up.

    There's a reason I'm on TOR, btw. Kill47.

I go to rallies and food drives almost every other weekend. Please do half of what I do, then get back to me.

how much does the NSA pay you?

I doubt the NSA would pay anyone to talk shit to an audience as small as Lemmy.

I generally don't think people here at intentional or conscious mouthpieces of opinions they don't share. It's more likely that they disagree or misunderstood something, know something you don't, don't know something you do know, have a different perspective or whatever. We're all better served attacking the statements than the people making them.

This is a delusional question. Delusional like your claim that "CHRISTIANS ARE PROSECUTED IN THE SOUTH", whatever that means.

Okay dipshit tell us what you're fucking talking about instead of pretending you have. If there's any fucking thing you could say you probably would have by now. But what do you do instead? Mumble an incomplete thought that seems to make no sense. I happen to know for a fact that Africa is heavily Christian and any isolated incidents of Christian persecution (not prosecution you fucking moron) are barely worth mentioning. So either shut the fucking hell up or make a fucking point. You've said nothing and pretended everyone else is an idiot for not reading the non existent point from your dull mind. Why do people like you even talk? You make the world a worse place. You defend the agressors and then bitch when people call you the fucking moron that you are for it.

Hey fucktard, are no one said Africa is a country, but you your stupid pathetic troll ass knows that. Okay so far, in dozens of messages, you have managed to type information equivalent to two thirds of a sentence. Congratulations. If I had 1000x more patience we might someday get to a paragraph.

Btw "most of Asia" isn't a country. But in all lowercase because I'm too stupid to type. /s

Blocking your stupid troll ass now...

I get that it's heinous that they sprayed a little girl, but I've always been of the belief that kids are no different that anyone else when it comes to this type of thing.

I'm not defending ICE at all by the way.

I'm just saying that a lot of people place emphasis on the wrong thing. A lot of people will place emphasis on it being a little girl, rather than on the fact that ICE is pepper spraying ANYONE who isn't a threat.

I AM saying it's reprehensible that this girl got sprayed. Not because she's young, or a girl, but because she was of no threat to these guys.

If you're 6, 16, 36, 86, any age. Any gender. Any background. If you're not posing an actual threat to anyone, peaceful protesting should not be met with pepper spray or mace, or whatever.

But what else do you expect from these wastes of human skin? They try to act like a big hard threat, but they have to hide their faces because they're all soft scardy cats.

When this is their response to peaceful protests, they force violent protests to become the next step. And there's an infinate more amount of us than there are of them.

I don't think most normal people would disagree that it's reprehensible to tear gas nonviolent protestors, regardless of age.

I think the reason you see things like this is not because people are thinking "how DARE they gas that young girl!? I think we should only gas 18+ people instead 😠", but they're making the point of "these people are willing to stoop so low, that not only will they teargas innocent people, but they will even do it to a child."

They're not saying it doesn't matter when it's done to adults, they're saying that it being done to children shows how low they are willing to stoop, past even the point of gassing adults with no ability or intent to harm them.
