    The eye icon in the bottom left should get you a "normal" one. The headphones get you an audio captcha.

    But yeah, this is just Google trying to correlate your PC with your phone, and all the personal info across both.

    Please provide a device attached to your very person so we can rat out dissenters by phone number, name, address, gps location, income, employer, and aggregate profile information to minority report you to your government and creditors. Also we're working on a live-tucker-reaction to build a photo database. There is totally not a man in the middle or parallel pipeline like Room 641A

    You can't create a new gmail account without the same crap. It started in gmail first iirc but they announced in April of this year that they wanted recaptcha to be like this too. Use in recaptcha started being reported around May of this year. I can't do it on my ungoogled phone and I don't plan on regoogling. Supposedly audio recaptcha still works.
