Self driving cars are such a boring, lame empty vision of the future.
My boring but not lame vision for the future is one where everyone's needs are met and they have opportunities to thrive while still getting plenty of time to enjoy hobbies and seeing their loved ones.

Trains with proper guardrails, unlike the Florida Death Train
Florida Death Train sounds like a Halloween theme park or a Scary movie.
I think people give the Brightline too much shit, it's hard to engineer train safeties sufficient to stand up to Florida man and woman, and for the rest, well... getting hit by the train can be the fastest way out of Florida, when you really want out.
I think it's less about the train itself (which, if you want a quick trip out of Florida, you could ride on instead) and more about red states being anti-tax, anti-regulation, and anti-education
