YOU WANT REPERATIONS, YET YOU WERE DESCENDED FROM AN ACT OF CRUELTY FROM A SLAVER. CURIOUS!
post
WomenPostingLs gets the wall
it's a well-known hate account, i would just avoid boosting their engagement whatsoever
Thomas Jefferson, eh?
"You're in favor of reparations, but have you considered your ancestor was sexually assaulted?
"
There's at least a vaguely interesting mismatch happening here. There's clearly the component of violence and likely coercion acted upon her ancestor, but in addition there's an interpretation of somehow being guilty by blood. It's like, no mother fucker, it's not the DNA connection that matters - it's the institutions of power and property that uphold differences even today. What do her "white" distant relatives look like wealth wise comparatively? Why would it be easy for the white relatives to trace ancestry, but comparatively harder for her? The property relations are far more determinate to contemporary conditions than what silly little bit of genetic matter someone has.
You can already tell this man scours Tinder for hours without a single match while going "ew" at any woman that isn't a 10/10 or is trans.
"Descent of Sexual Slavery Finds Out That She Is In Fact Descended from Sexual Slavery"
Check-mate, commies 😎
Also I hardly think that that would change her mind. I'm like 90% sure that my great-great grandparents owned slaves in Jamaica and I support reparations 🤷
I actually watched the PBS show where they did this, she was immediately disgusted by the idea because she understood that the woman who that slave owner had a child with was a slave and obviously slaves can't consent.
I swear if you’re running and profiting from these reactionary baiting cringe accounts you should have to use your public fucking name and have an office that can be [redacted] with them inside it. Never thought I’d say Der Sturmer was braver than the ducking chicken fascists we have today
how is this an own? haha, the woman who is advocating against slavery's ancestor was raped by a slave owner???
redacted by creator- this was a bad post, probably borne out of weird inculturated stuff that I need to make a more disciplined effort to deprogram
no you don't actually need to do eugenics for bad ancestors, racism is not hereditary.
edited out: Thank you all for the critique, I was wrong and I deserved to be called out on it. I was negligent and did not out the mental effort in to realize how I was replicating reactionary thought patterns. I can and must do better.
Casually doing race science and comparing ADHD to slave owning to own the dastardly whites, fucking hexbear moment
racism has no biological components whatsoever. it's an ideological construction that's learned and socialized. it can only seem to be 'inherited' because our social structures perpetuate racism and our economic system preserves generational wealth. but what those people inherit is property and parents/society that teach them racism, not a racism gene.
sorry to pile on but it's very important to understand what racism is if you're going to be opposed to it, and you shouldn't have the impression it's an emergence from natural behavioral dispositions. that's a claim of "race science"--even if you're just applying it to whites, that's a real argument the segregationists use/d to justify apartheid
You're right. By my own valueset that I am trying to develop, my previous comments were glaringly lacking in constructivist foundation and even had a disturbing essentialist underpinning. I deserved to be dragged for this. This is not what I want to curate in myself.
To vanquish reactionary thought it is inportant to make sure we do not replicate the thought patterns that transmit it, and I failed at this today. I apologize to everyone that saw my mistaken posting, and I should probably take a break from commenting for a while.
If I were an admin I would permaban you from the site for these two comments, no questions asked
You need to do some serious, serious self-crit at minimum. What the fuck, honestly

this is intensely admirable, we should all be so humble and ready to work on our beliefs. i'm going to remember to follow your example next time i'm in a similar spot
