hopefully won't affect muriatic acid... I have tons of weeds that need to be utterly destroyed, else I gotta dig like 4ft down on my entire property.

but no one will ask why we let China take over sulphuric acid production from the world last 50 years.

    Quietly

I've been reading this headline in all Bold Caps for months

It means Australian manufacturers are facing a difficult choice: either stock up on the highly corrosive and combustible chemical or go without their key ingredient.

Maybe all those Euro Aussies can pick up and go back to the countries they came from.

Why doesn't everyone pack it up and move back to the savannahs of Africa? It seems like the only fair way to resolve all the issues that have stemmed from questionable practices during past migrations.

Give climate change a few more decades and they might have to

Kenya has an average elevation of 762 meters. The continent of Africa is an enormous plateau.

That would lower the temperature by about 5 degrees Celsius compared to sea level, which doesn't help enough with African temperatures.

Low? That's within a few dozen meters of the US average.

Of course, Nairobi - Kenya's largest city - is 1,795 m. About 200 m higher than Denver. But that's averages for you.

In that case, comparing it to the US, we would expect their relative temperature to be the same as if they weren't on a plateau. You're accounting for Africa's temp difference due to height but not doing the same for other places.

Europe, China, and Russia should get together and negotiate with Iran. The world cannot just rely on Trump to end the war.

Europe should not get together with Russia. Putin can get fucked.

Just Europe and China could get together, but including Russia would make a more formidable team.

Israel is the one deciding how this goes. They're annexing Lebanon while everyone stares at Donald and gas prices

A deal of Europe, Russia, and China with Iran could require Europe not to supply weapons to Israel

Right after they convince Russia to end the war in Ukraine, right?

Face it. This is the world that the voters chose. (And yes, there has been a growing Right Wing political movement in most of Europe that has been pushing for this too.)

What are you talking about? US military is right there bombing Iran and taking over ships that try to cross the strait. How Europe and China negotiating with Iran would solve that?

Hopefully, Russia joins Europe and China. If Europe, China, and Russia reach a deal with Iran to end the war, it would put pressure on Trump to join. The deal would end Iran's ability to build a nuclear bomb which is what Trump says he wants. If Trump rejects the deal, he will have to explain what else he wants. Trump would probably be happy if Europe, China, and Russia negotiate a deal, since it would end the war and prices would go down. If Trump rejects the deal, European, Chinese, and Russian warships would escort ships out of the Strait of Hormuz.

That is terrible political fiction. One of the demands Iran is making now is for US to completely leave the region. How could Europe and China agree to this on behalf of US? This simply makes no sense. Trump can end the war at any time. The problem is that there is no deal available to him that will not completely embarrass him. European, Chinese and Russian ships will not escort anything because they will not risk armed conflict with US. You're basically talking about openly ending NATO and creating new anti-US alliance between countries that have completely different interests. This idea is completely ignoring geopolitical reality we live in.

Europe, Russia, and China could get Iran to drop its demand that the US completely leave the region. If Europe, China, and Russia negotiate a deal with Iran, Trump might be happy since it would end the war and prices will drop. Trump also would be pressured to end the war since the deal would certainly have arrangements that prevent Iran from developing a nuclear bomb. Trump has said that this is his goal. If he rejects the deal, he will have to explain what else does he want. If Trump rejects the deal, it's up to Europe, China, and Russia whether they want to risk war with the US or leave it up to Trump to negotiate a deal.

I'm 1000% sure Europe, China and Russia don't want to risk a war with the US. This whole idea makes no sense. Trump already should have explained what the fuck is he trying to achieve with this war. He didn't and nothing happened.

It's up to Europe, China, and Russia whether they want the future of Iran and its impact on the world to be decided by them or Trump.

I will be decided by Trump one way or the other because Europa, China and Russia can't force Trump to do anything.
