Smells like conservative bullshit.

Even as a lefty this place is shockingly left leaning. Are there even any conservatives here?

I dunno, I've been called both a tankie and a Nazi here.

There's like, one conservative community on one instance. And it's like five people who get clowned on for making hilariously stupid and fallacious comments. They're outnumbered in their own communities.

This is so bad, it's got to be a MAGA meme

If any, this is making fun of MAGAs, which typically don't care about facts.

That's true, but the "Sue was offended" part reeks of boomer conservative insult.

I understand. This is weird, because the first part is like anti-MAGA and pro-facts. But the second part is anti-facts, and thus pro-MAGA. This is too much for my brain to handle.

This is actually a really current and relevant meme, even if many other comments here say otherwise. It may have been relevant in the past as well, but that does not affect today.

The member states, that with lies and anger you get a lot of attention in modern politics, but not with calm rationality. However, calm rationality is what is needed to make good decisions. This is more of a critique of modern media, than of any political direction itself. Even though, there are of course some political parties that use lies more than others.

So we posting boomer memes now

  • source
  • [–] 5 points 2 years ago (1 child)

Okay. As I'm reading the comments, they mainly divide to:

    • Conservative/leftist meme
    • Boomer humor

Saying my opinion is useless, so I'll leave just that. Thanks for reading 🙂

This comment is so depressing. The comic isn't about politics, it's just pointing out that human nature is irrational and we're influenced by how a message is delivered as well as the raw facts. Yet you have to find a political bias in it. Would you feel more positively about the comic if you knew that the author was on "your side"? (Which I'm guessing is the left)
