I live in the Bay Area and regularly get multiple drinks (each), an appetizer, and two entrees at a mid-high end restaurant for $100-150 easily, and obviously SF is on the more expensive side of things.
Where the fuck is this average coming from? Top-tier dates in Tokyo?

The only things they're counting are dinner, drinks, transportation and grooming? At that price, I thought it would include event tickets, museum entry, the cost of a hotel room, or something like that. Two can eat well for much less than that.
