I'm going to be prewiring my house with shit ton of cat6a and some fiber for future proofing(yes, I will be using Smurf tubing as well) to just about every room in the house.

I plan to use fiber for possible networking but also unconventional uses like hdmi over fiber, usb/audio bulans, etc.

I am going to supply every drop with this OS2 and I am also going to run OM3 with it for compatibility/redundancy. Yes I know, overkill.

My issue is I don't know which cheap OM3 to buy. I found bulk om3 zip cord cable but I don't know of the disadvantages of using zip cord in my situation.

If not the cheapest I found was this OM3 cable What is the biggest difference/drawbacks between those two?

Finally are there any shortcomings/opportunities that I am missing here with my planned setup? Thanks.

OS2. Even OM5 will be become somewhat obsolete before long. OS2 has been around for decades and is still the standard, and the most flexible.

Are you going to terminate it yourself?

just curious, do you have the tool to terminate the fiber optic?

what issue do you foresee cat6 not being able to handle?

Instead of the OM3 could you add a draw wire or two instead. This retains your flexibility and options without committing one way or another. And if you are running conduit to each drop I imagine this won't be a problem for pulling these through if you ever need them?
