Refurbished iPhone: Gifting — is it obvious what it is (alien.top)

Just saw the exact model iPhone I want to buy my mom for Christmas but it’s refurbished. I’m not in the country at the moment so if I get it delivered to her house, will it be immediately obvious what it is when she gets it?

There is no shame in getting refurbished apple products, even if they are gifts. They’re like-new condition.

I know. I was going to buy it for my Mum for Christmas but I don't live in the UK so I can't send it to her directly 'coz she'll know what she's getting.

Apple Refurbished items come in a plain white box (no graphics) and also say “Certified Refurbished” on the front in small grey font. I’ve ordered tons from Apple Refurb; Macs, phones and watches all come the same way as I described.

Thanks! In that case I won’t be sending one to my mum for Christmas! If only they offered gift packing on refurbs but it seems Apple don’t do this.
